Corrections Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
BitcoinWorld aims to be accurate. When we get something wrong, we aim to fix it promptly and openly.
How to report an error
If you believe an article contains a factual error, email contact@bitcoinworld.co.in with the subject line “Correction request”. Please include the article URL, the passage you believe is wrong and, where possible, a source that supports the correction. Requests are reviewed by the responsible editor, Keshav Aggarwal, or a member of the editorial team acting on his behalf.
What happens next
- We aim to acknowledge correction requests within two business days.
- If we confirm a factual error, we correct the article and add a note at the end stating what was changed and when.
- Significant errors, such as a wrong figure in a headline or a misattributed statement, are also noted at the top of the article.
- Whether a correction is needed, and how it is worded, is decided by our editors. Disagreements about opinion, emphasis or interpretation are not factual errors.
Updates and removals
We do not remove accurate articles because a subject dislikes the coverage, and we do not rewrite history silently: where an article is substantially updated with new information, the update is marked with a date. We may, at our discretion, update, unpublish or remove content for legal, safety, privacy or editorial reasons, or where it no longer meets our standards.
AI-assisted content
Articles in our Crypto News section are drafted with AI tools from published reports, pass automated accuracy checks and are approved by our editor before publication, as described in our Editorial Policy. Each one names its sources and carries a note on how it was produced. Correction requests about these articles are reviewed by a person; please report them the same way.
Removed content
In September 2026 we removed a large volume of syndicated articles from the Site, as described in our Editorial Policy. Those URLs now return a “not found” response. If you arrived at a missing page from an external link, that is why.
Legal and copyright requests
Copyright complaints are handled under our Copyright & DMCA Policy. Other legal requests should be sent to contact@bitcoinworld.co.in with the subject line “LEGAL”. Using this Corrections Policy does not create any obligation or liability beyond what is set out in our Terms of Use.
